More than a lounge — it's your first appointment in Rome

Some guests imagine an airport-style lounge: a place to sit if you happen to be passing by. That's not what this is.

When you book your welcome, a space is prepared for you, your ItaliaPack is prepared with your names on it, and your host blocks out that time to be entirely at your service. Here's what a visit actually looks like:

• Drop your bags and exhale. A cool, quiet space that's yours — a coffee in the morning or glass of wine later in the day.
• Collect your ItaliaPack. Your welcome gift, handed over in person on Day 1.
• Sit down with your concierge. Trains, tickets, restaurants, what to do first — ask anything. Our concierge has found seats for shows with minutes to spare, bought museums tickets on the spot, and rescued more than a few chaotic Italy itineraries.
• Leave with a plan. Before you go, your concierge lays out three great options for your day: settle in, explore easily, or dive into an experience. Three good choices. You can't go wrong.

Already included in your Primo membership or fare — this isn't an upsell, it's a benefit you own. The only mistake is not using it.

I. Welcome Lounge — Roma Termini Station

Right inside Rome's main station. Step off your Frecciarossa — or the Leonardo Express from Fiumicino Airport — and walk towards platform 24. A calm, air-conditioned room away from the station crowds.
This is where our hosts work their everyday magic: tracking your onward train, showing you to the right platform through the shortcuts, sorting tickets for your next stop while you finish your coffee.
Perfect for: arrivals by train or airport express, travelers with time between connections, and anyone waiting for hotel check-in.

II. Trastevere Villa & Lounge

Less waiting room, more Roman living room. Guests arrive expecting a lounge and find a home — a welcoming Villa with a lush internal courtyard in Rome's most beloved neighborhood, where you can settle in with a cold glass of wine and talk about Italian life with your host.
It's also our experience hub: the meeting point before cooking classes, dinners and evening plans in the historic center.
Perfect for: stays in Trastevere or the centro storico, families, and travelers who want to slow down and soak it in.

III. Vatican Lounge

Your anchor on the west side of the river. If you're staying near the Vatican, Prati or Borgo — or spending the day at the basilica and museums — this is your closest landing spot. A quiet place to regroup, refresh, and plan with your host before heading back out.
Perfect for: stays on the Vatican side of the Tiber, and as a base before or after your Vatican tour.

Good to know before you arrive

Why we ask about your arrival when you book. Your flight or train details aren't a formality — they're how your host times your welcome. We prepare your ItaliaPack for the moment you walk in, and if your train runs late, we'll know before you do.

Someone is genuinely waiting for you. When you book, one of our hosts reserves that time for you personally.

Plans change — no problem, just tell us. Flight delayed, itinerary flipped, jet lag winning? Send us a message and we'll move your welcome to another day or another base, free of course. What we'd hate is for you to skip it: it's already yours, and guests who almost skipped it tell us it was the best decision of their first day.
