Recommended Time
April to the first half of October is the best time, so as not to risk that the boats do not leave due to bad weather. During July and August, Ischia and Capri can be very crowded and the ferry tickets are difficult to purchase.
Itinerary
Get to one of Naples’ main ports.
Head to one of the key departure points: Molo Beverello (for high-speed ferries/boats) or Porta di Massa (for slower ferries that also accommodate cars).
Purchase your ticket for the desired island. You can buy tickets online or directly at the port.
Average sailing times are as follows: • Capri: approximately 40–60 minutes • Ischia: approximately 60–90 minutes • Procida: approximately 30–40 minutes
